A rectangular shaped handbag that uses the straight hex-open frame. Has gathers in the frame area for fullness including five sizes. Finished cosmetic bag is 8 in. x 6½ in. Small clutch is 10 in. x 8 ½ in. Clutch is 12 in. x 10 in. Small tote is 14 in. x 14 in. Tote is 18 in. x 16 in. The cosmetic and small clutch size can double as an evening bag. The clutch works well with or without straps, and the totes become a knitting or sewing bag, diaper bag or carryall. All use the straight hex-open frame and are fully lined with lining showing on the finished bag. Eyelet or cluny lace, pleat or ruffle add a touch of decoration. This pattern uses 8", 10", 12", 14", or 18" frames.

Quilt Woman – Do-Si-Do (QW-01)
Pattern designed by Susan Mayer. Do-Si-Do is the first in the Straight to the Point Series. Do-Si-Do uses a simple square block with fabric color reversals. One version is dark in the middle and light on outer edges and the other is light in the middle and dark on the outer edges. Blocks are 9" and fast to sew. All the blocks are set as straight rows. The quilt is then cut and resewn into an on-point setting. The are NO diagonal rows of different sizes, NO setting triangles and NO corner blocks. Our technique makes On-Point sets a snap. Note: If your quilting style requires perfect points, this pattern may not be for you. Due to the nature of the technique, the corners of blocks that touch the inside border are slightly trimmed. And there are FIVE sizes! Finished Sizes: Baby 50" x 50" Lap 62" x 75" Twin 69" x 94" Double/Queen 94" x 94" King 107" x 107"
