A rectangular shaped handbag that uses the straight hex-open frame. Has gathers in the frame area for fullness including five sizes. Finished cosmetic bag is 8 in. x 6½ in. Small clutch is 10 in. x 8 ½ in. Clutch is 12 in. x 10 in. Small tote is 14 in. x 14 in. Tote is 18 in. x 16 in. The cosmetic and small clutch size can double as an evening bag. The clutch works well with or without straps, and the totes become a knitting or sewing bag, diaper bag or carryall. All use the straight hex-open frame and are fully lined with lining showing on the finished bag. Eyelet or cluny lace, pleat or ruffle add a touch of decoration.
